WHAT IS FEDERAL STUDENT AID?
Federal Student Aid offers students financial assistance in the means of grants and loans. Title IV refers to Federal Student Aid.
When you apply for financial aid, you may receive loans as a part of your school’s financial aid package. If you take a loan, you need to make sure to understand all about the terms and conditions of the loan. When it comes to student loans, they are offered by the federal government, private sources including a bank or financial institution, or even from other organizations. Loans or financial aid made by the federal government, Federal Direct Loans, generally come with more benefits than loans taken from banks or private sources.
GTC was my first venture back into higher education since getting out of the military, and they have not only been extremely helpful as an online education institution, but I have received more support from them than any physical campus I have ever attended.
